Durham Forest Race Series
We’re excited to announce that the preliminary schedule for the 2018 Durham Forest Race series! We’ll be beginning on May 3rd and racing until Sept 6th – for an entire season of weekly casual mountain bike racing fun!
Here are the details for registration and the first 2 races:
Registration – April 26th (Northern Cycle)
5:30 – 7:00 pm
Race #1 – May 3rd (Woodnewton)
5:30 registration opens
6:30pm trail ride and race start tentative upon trail conditions
Race #2 – May 10th (Durham Forest)
5:30pm registration opens
6:30pm race start

Where: The Durham Forest
When: Every Thursday (from May – September)
Pre-ride: 5:45pm (NO EARLIER PLEASE)
Registration: Opens at 6:00pm
Race start: 7:00pm
Race length: 45 – 75 mins
For more than 20 years, we’ve been bringing local racing to the Durham Forest and we’re looking forward to another great season of racing. We’ve once again teamed up with our friends at Northern Cycle to bring you a fun race series for any level of rider and we’re always looking forward to meeting new racers.

Getting There: Durham Forest
- You MUST access the main parking area via Uxbridge Rd / 7th Concession from Goodwood Rd (HWY 21). There is no East-bound vehicular access from 6th Concession Rd.
- Race registration and start is just up the gated tower road – continue past the tower down the wooded lane way. You can’t miss the additional vehicles and registration tent!
Getting there: WOODNEWTON
This is private property and only open to select race events.
Take Hwy 401 East to Brock Rd exit 399. Take Brock Rd north 25km to Coppins Corners. Turn right onto Goodwood Rd 21. Drive East to Concession #6. Turn Left (North) onto Concession #6. Woodnewton property will be on the right (east) side of the road. WATCH FOR BIKE RACE SIGN FOR ENTRANCE TO PARKING AREA.
