MTB Season Creeps Closer!
With the 2015 MTB season creeping closer as we spring into April, it’s time to break out our gear and get ourselves race-ready. Many of us are already braving the salty roads to escape the indoor training! Get out and enjoy, but don’t forget to get your Citizen Permit or Race License at from the Ontario Cycling Association website (www.ontariocycling.org).
A Classic Returns
The weekly Thursday Night Series will begin on April 16th at the Skytop private property just east of Durham Forest, which will also be a tune up for the returning Uxbridge Icebreaker! For those who remember my Icebreaker event, you will appreciate that Sean from Superfly Racing and myself will be bringing back the race on the Sunday April 19th, with a 15km loop (or 30K double) all on Skytop trails! Make sure you sign up for the return of this Ontario classic: 2015 Uxbridge Icebreaker
Another Fun Race Season Ahead!
After organizing 20 years of weekly races we will continue to offer fun / challenging courses, amazing race timing, lots of draw prizes, constant updates, and of course Iceman’s North Shore laid back personality! As we head into the season, if you are interested in getting some coaching or trail technique instruction don’t hesitate to approach me or contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org. I can offer both private and small group instructions to help and your riding friends become more proficient single track riders.
I hope the warm weather energizes you all into renewing those Thursday night friendships! See you on April 16th for the start of our 21st season!
